Representative Proteins
Representative Proteins are shown with descriptions together with flat file hyperlinks when clicked. There is less information on computationally predicted sequences from genomic analysis. The TESK1 gene is conserved in human, chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, and zebrafish [2].

Figure 3 : Phylogenetic tree for TESK1. It can be seen that TESK1 (isoforms 1 and 2) from Homo sapiens and TESK1 from Mus musculus have the most sequence identity, and are in fact more closely related to TESK2 from Homo sapiens and R. norvegicus than TESK1 from species such as G. gallus and D. rerio. TESK1 from birds and fish seem to be closely related, whereas mammals are less so. Phylogenetic analysis also showed that TESK1 is closely related to LIMK.
